The Buckeyes faced their first true test and their first second half deficit. The result? Another win, putting Ohio State at 10-0 and still number one in the polls.
The Bucks jumped out early with yet another touchdown pass from Boeckman to Robiskie. The two teams then exchanged field goals to put the score at 10-3 going into the half. The fans in the 'Shoe seemed content and ready to start celebrating another victory.
When the Badgers came out of the gates in the second half, they looked much more alive. Tyler Donovan reeled off two touchdown passes to give the Badgers a 17-10 lead. The Buckeye offense was in disarray, but Chris Wells stepped in and scored three second-half touchdowns to put Ohio State ahead for good.
The game ball goes to Chris Wells who was simply unstoppable in the second half. He finished with 169 rushing yards on 21 carries and 3 touchdowns. Wells plowed through the defense and provided big runs when the morale was low.
