Cal Poly Pomona Student Elizabeth Duer Missing, Had Feared Stalker

A Cal Poly Pomona student named Elizabeth Duer is missing, after suspecting that was being stalked for several months. Cal Poly University Police have posted fliers around the campus seeking information about any leads regarding the 27-year-old part-time student, who is approximately 5’8’’ , 120 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

The Whittier Daily News reports:

Elizabeth Duer feared she was being stalked.
The 27-year-old Baldwin Park woman, who has been missing for 11 days, told police twice over the past six months that she believed someone was following her, authorities said Thursday.

Duer has not been seen since she left her house in in the 15200 block of Kenoak Drive at 6 p.m. Sept. 7. The landscape architect and Cal Poly Pomona student told her roommates she would return that evening, but never did…

Duer had reported a stalker to both Baldwin Park Police and Cal Poly Pomona's University Police in recent months. She had no description to offer, but said she believed she was being followed, Taylor said.

Police are looking into all possible leads, but Taylor said they "do not have many."
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department as well as Cal Poly Pomona authorities are working with Baldwin Park Police.

For any student concerned about being stalked, this should come as a warning to be vigilant and report any potential foul play. Anyone with information about Elizabeth Duer should contact Detective Mark Harvey at (626) 960-1955 ex. 421.
