Could Miami University possibly be turning into a liberal campus? Miami is technically a "liberal arts" college, but that certainly has had nothing to say about the average student's politics. But that was all before the Obama hype.

Ever since the Republican ticket began it's downward spiral - thanks to Sarah Palin's train wreck interviews and John McCain's attempts to duck out of tonight's debate - enthusiasm for the Democratic ticket on campus has been flying by the flaccid Republican ticket.

Obama-Biden supporters have been on canvasing the student body and registering voters for the swing state of Ohio.

In previous years, demonstrations have been held by 2nd amendment absolutists - they passed out fliers on why registered gun owners should be allowed to carry on campus - and pro-life advocates where they flashed pictures of aborted fetuses to unsuspecting crowds (because if you really want to sway someone to your line of thinking, you have to scare the crap out of them and induce vomiting). But besides a lonely McCain-Palin banner by the Shriver Center, the conservative base that once reigned supreme here at Miami University has been relatively quiet. This means that the question "Is Miami turning blue?" has to be asked.

If so, conservatives better go into hibernation until all of this blows over to avoid all of the homosexual sex, abortions, pot smoking hippies and downright Godlessness that always follows those Goddamn liberal, pinko, commie, bastards.
