According to the Daily Jolt, another Sushi place is going to open up on Thayer. Not only that but it will replace the only Thayer Dunkin' Donuts.  The name of the new unagi roll on the block is Shark. Word is it's owned by the same people that run Shanghai. More importantly is the rumor that in 10 months Shark will allegedly take over Spike's and turn it into a "VIP" area (whatever that means).

Some propose boycott, others probably don't give a shit. Shark's replacement of Dunkin' Donuts is not really a big deal. I mean, Rhode Island does have the most number of Dunkin' Donuts per square mile. Hell, we even have a Dunkin' Donuts arena -- clearly they can't be hurtin' too bad. But sushi places taking over essentials like Spike's would be a step too far.
