Official OSU Rules: Speed Quarters

Official OSU Rules: Speed Quarters

It is about time we, as an OSU community, decide on the final rules for drinking games. Anyone else annoyed with going to a house party, sitting down to play a game, and spending fifteen minutes figuring out the rules to go by? This week we chronicle "Speed Quarters", a fast-paced action game that never stops. If you'd like to add rules or suggestions, feel free to comment.

Name: Speed Quarters

Alternate Names: None Known

Required Equipment: 2 Shot Glasses, 2 Quarters

Number of People: Best with 6-8 people.

Setup: Two people start with the shot glass and quarter. Generally it is best to space them out evenly.

Play: This game is very easy. Before taking the initial shot, the person must take a drink of beer. If the quarter is made into the shot glass on the first shot, the person picks any person to pass to. Otherwise, when the shot is made, it goes to the person on the left. If the person on the left has a shot glass, the person can tap their shot glass and that person must now drink before shooting again.

Game Over When: NEVER!

Special/Optional Rules: If more than 8 people are playing, you can add more shot glasses and quarters. This makes tapping of more than 1 person possible and very exciting.
