If rankings were based solely on defense, Ohio State would probably be number one (Virginia Tech can't say how good their defense is now). The passing attack may be anemic, but damn did they look good on defense, only allowing 71 yards and 0 points.

But the game is not the story here. Buckeyes are known as big-time partiers and "drunken orgy" people. Where was that Columbus flavor Saturday night? The party scene was a dud, and campus was empty. It's obvious that OSU lacked party appeal due to a lot of people not moving back yet, but come on, people. At least 20 people should get maced every week at OSU. It's tradition.

Only time will tell if next weekend will be as lame.
