According to recently released statistics, Mizzou has 14 sports programs ranking in the top two overall in NCAA Div I athletics... when it comes to academic performance!
APR measures were created only four years ago to give perspective on athletes' eligibility, retention and graduation rates.
Who's the smartest? The dudes, apparently. All nine men's sports ranked above the Div-1 national average, while eight out of the 11 women's sports did, too.
Give 'em a pat on the back. We may not be at the top when it comes to winning, but hey! We're smart.
