So, as promised, I checked out Snappy Sushi ... and was sadly disappointed. Besides the ridiculous setup (one large table that severely cuts down the available seats, making for a long wait and difficult conversation if you're in a group of more than two), the sushi was ... meh. My "Tuna Gone Wild" roll was pretty delish, but the sashimi appetizer and my friend's rolls were less-than-stellar. His verdict: try Porter Exchange next time instead.
