Looking for a new way to fund college? Well, there are several elementary schools around.

A recent CNN report shows that sex offenders are taking advantage of a loophole to get federal aid for college. Sex offenders who have been switched from prison to "treatment" do not receive income and are not in prison, therefore they can receive Pell Grants (federal aid). Essentially, the tax paying victims are funding the rapist's college education.

The biggest problem with this loophole is that many are taking even more advantage of the situation. Pell Grants give up to $4,310 a year to cover tuition, but anything extra is given to the "student" to cover expenses. In the CNN report, it states some of the sex offenders that receive Pell Grants used the extra money for electronics and entertainment.
