With the NFL preseason underway, former OSU stars are getting a chance to prove their worth (or lack thereof) to their new, non-sweater vest wearing coaches. Here's how a few former Buckeyes are doing in the pros:
Troy Smith: 7/19 passing, 94yds, 0 TD. Apparently, last year's Heisman winner enjoys reliving his stellar performance against Florida in the NFL. Perhaps if every team in the AFC changed their name to Michigan he would be more successful.
Anthony Gonzalez: 3 Rec. 40yds. 0 TD. Everyone who talks about Anthony Gonzalez on the TV says he will be starting as a third wide receiver for the Colts. I didn't hear it on Fox News, so I assume it's true.
Antonio Pittman: 23 Car. 60yds. 1 TD. These stats are misleading, as Pittman has had some disgustingly amazing runs thus far, making several defensive veterans look like middle-school backups. He's number 25, right?
Ted Ginn Jr: 1 Rec. 9yds. 7 returns for 63yds 0 TD. Ginn actually averaged 18yds/return against Jacksonville, making him not bad. Barring any celebratory foot injuries in the end zone, he might do okay for Miami.
