The university released some formal plans earlier this week and the Union looks amazing. The $115 Million project includes such features as Sloopy's Diner, many meeting rooms, Woody's Pub, a convenience store, two ballrooms and a senate chamber.

Sounds impressive, right? Your tuition hard at work. The only problem, just a minor little one: YOU'LL NEVER SEE IT.

Odds are you will have graduated by the time this is completed. The Union plans have the time-line of completion around 2+ years from now. And that is just a rough estimate. It would seem more likely this will be done 3 years from now to account for miscellaneous delays and funding problems. But surely by that time, OSU will call you for Alumni donations for the newly completed Union.

A college without a union or main library: ridiculous.
