Midterms are approaching in most classes, are you ready? Fear not, there is always the ability to drop your class. Friday is the deadline to drop a class without a "W". As long as you maintain at least twelve credit hours, you will be a full-time student.
So how do you know if you should drop a class? Here's a list of reasons:
10. What Class?
If you just realized you have the class, you should probably drop the class you're going to miss anyway.
9. Missing Assignments
If you've already missed some assignments or quizzes, give up.
8. Too Much Homework
If the class is making you do too much work outside of class, you have better things to do.
7. Horrible Teacher
If the teacher is ridiculously hard and you've heard of an easier one, drop the class and try to get an easier professor.
6. Changing Majors
If you're changing your major, you might as well drop the unecessary classes.
5. No Prospects
If you really don't like the class and there's no prospect for finding a "study buddy", wait for more fruitful times.
4. What? Huh? Who?
If you are just completely confused by the class content, give up.
3. Happy Hour
If you'd rather be at happy hour, then drop the class and grab a drink.
2. Drink With Us
If you have found yourself telling friends, "I can't, I need to work/study/read for ________." The class is killing you slowly.
1. You Can
Do it just because you can. College is supposed to be the best 5-7 years of your life.
