Tressel Gains Third Straight Big Ten Title
Ann Arbor is still a whore. Ohio State dominated Michigan for its eleventh win and third straight Big Ten title. From passing, rushing and defense, Ohio State never faltered. With a final score of 14-3, OSU guaranteed itself a BCS game in January.

From the opening possession, it didn't seem like a guaranteed win. The Buckeyes offensive struggles carried over from the Illinois game and it was very evident. Luckily for Ohio State, Michigan even worse offensively.

The lonely 3 points for Michigan came in the first quarter on a field goal. After that, Michigan never had a productive drive. Chad Henne was even replaced midway through the game in favor of freshman Ryan Mallet. "Heisman hopeful" (ha) Mike Hart was held to 44 yards. Michigan couldn't even amass 100 yards in this game, which makes it all but impossible to win.

The only bright spot for Ohio State offensively was Chris Wells. Wells provided the only touchdowns of the game and had a 62-yard run that was almost as great as his run last year. Beanie ended with an eye-opening 222 yards on 39 carries and 2 touchdowns; that gives Wells 278 yards and 3 touchdowns overall against Michigan.

Todd Boeckman was completely ineffective; he was held to 50 yards passing and threw a horrible ball into double coverage that led to an interception. It is obvious that OSU needs to do some serious work on offense before their next game.

The game ball goes to the seniors, who earned their fourth pair of gold pants. Congratulations men on a good season and good luck in the BCS game and your future.
