Some not so good news for fans of Carolina football: Casey Rice's ankle injury in the first game is going to put him out of the season.

Everyone is always talking about how good this season is going to be, what with the addition of Butch Davis. Looks like things are really turning around. Or, at least, it can't get any worse.

But, it's not as overhyped as other sporting events have been. Like what happened with the XFL season opener where the would-be sports mega-star Casey Weldon suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in the first play of the first game.

That's right, they have the same first name. Coincidence?
