Cafferty on Clinton and Obama?

"Barack Obama took another big step toward becoming the Democratic presidential nominee last night. He now has a majority of the pledged delegates – which means it is now impossible for Hillary Clinton to catch him. He also reminded those superdelegates who remain uncommitted that if they endorse Clinton now, they will be going against the will of the voters."
Since when is having majority of the pledged delegates a rationale for superdelegates who remain uncommitted to endorse Obama? Or since when is it a proxy for popular vote? By her tremendous wins in Kentucky and West Virginia, it is obvious that a not unsubstantial percent of her supporters do not want her out of the race and do not want Obama to be the next Democratic president. Shouldn't that be more important to the Democratic party? Also, by staying in doesn't that benefit the Democratic party by bringing in more registered voters than ever before? Hillary is tenacious and she is no elitist whimp.
Cafferty can spin it however he wants with his final "Why does Hillary Clinton continue on when Barack Obama now has a majority of pledged delegates and her campaign is almost $20 million in debt?" but my question is "Why does CNN still continue to present only the Obama spin of the story?"

What could be more elitist than super delegates overriding the will of the voters, the will of the people?

It's the system NOT Obama that could be viewed as elitist. Clinton is no longer news. Which is why the fade out routine is beginning to happen. Of course with the irrational moves and threats being made on her part is the only way she can make the news.
She's no longer talking about issues. She's talking about Obama and the system. That's not how you win a campaign

I liked her. I really did. I still have stickers and stuff. But this is really hard for me to handle. I tend to believe that I made a mistake supporting her early. To be honest i switched to obama a few months ago ... late feb I think. Watching his speaches. Seeing his knowlege. His hope. And many other things caused me to swtich. I really thought she would be the "safer" bet, but Obama had the chance to be GREAT not just ok or safe. So I switched to Obama. Now I believe he can be Safe and Great. What gets me is how I missed the way she would react. She should have dropped out and supported Obama a month ago. He should be working to win vs the GOP now and for the last month.
