Oh, those were the days.
Former Cal football star Marshawn Lynch, now a member of the NFL's Buffalo Bills, was involved in a hit-and-run accident in Buffalo May 31st. He is thought to have been driving the car involved when he hit a woman crossing an intersection before speeding off. The woman sustained only minor injuries and was released from a nearby hospital shortly afterwards.
Lynch and his attorneys have not released a statement nor scheduled a meeting with police or the district attorney. Prosecutors are looking for a plea in the case, which classifies as a Class A misdemeanor and carries a maximum $1,000 fine or one year prison sentence.
Good luck, Marshawn, and thanks for waiting until after you left Cal to do stupid sh*t like this. (Not as much can be said for, oh, half of the USC football team.)
