Nearly 47 percent of the Cincinnati area's top seniors - as defined by their high schools - have committed to colleges outside the state, while 53 percent are staying in Ohio, according to an informal Enquirer survey. The major reasons for this new trend is differences in what colleges can offer in terms of cost and career pathways.
