Professors Examine Future Challenges to Obama - Forget Many Important Ones

Notre Dame professors of American Studies, Robert Schmuhl and Matt Storin, addressed many important challenges that President Barack Obama will face.  Obviously, they mentioned choosing a bipartisan staff, the looming economic crisis, health care reform, and the Iraq war, but these professors also missed some very important concerns for the future president.

1. President Bush still has two more months in office. Ordinarily, the future President of the United States doesn't have to worry about finding a new place to live... unfortunately, we're sorry Barack. Rumor has it that President Bush recently gambled away the lease to the White House in game of 3 card Monte the last time Dick Cheney let him out of his sight.

2.  Now that Barack's officially a mega-celebrity, he has to adopt 13 vietnamese children, officially change his name to Michack or Barelle, and become a fanatical scientologist.

3. Unfortunately, Obama has to be concerned that Sarah Palin still holds an executive political position in this country's government.  It is seriously scary to think that a woman who doesn't know that Africa is a continent, and who believes dinosaurs walked the earth with humans, is out influencing a state's policies, even if it is Alaska. (I just couldn't pass up the last opportunity to ridicule Palin)

4. As president, Obama has an obligation to keep the cast of SNL in constant supply of comedic material. How are Americans supposed to survive the next four years without laughter if our president isn't a complete joke? Eh, it's worth it if we don't have to see Frank Caliendo on TV anymore.

5. As the first black president, Obama has to precisely coordinate the release of his first rap album (feat. Ludacris, Will.I.Am, and Joe "Eezy-Ridin" Biden) with his State of the Union address.  I can't wait for their hot new single, "Big Pimpin' Playa's and Maverick Slaya's."
