This Trani is Taking Over the Beams

She has not even begun her college career, and already this girl is in the big leagues.
This 17-year-old Pennsylvania native has her own fan club and “Official Website” dedicated to her athletic star power, triumphs and medals.

Amber Trani, University of Georgia freshman, has been invited to the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials for gymnastics. Trani, and 18 other women, will compete June 19-22 at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia for a spot on the U.S. Olympic Team for this summer's games in Beijing.

Trani qualified to tryout after her performance last weekend at the USA Championships in Boston, where she finished ninth in the balance beam competition and 18th on floor competitions. She also represented the United States in the 2007 Pan-American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where she helped the team obtain a first-place finish and took second-place vault honors.

….YOU GO GIRL!
