If you're the one person who didn't attend the Obama rally today on the Old Main lawn then I've got you covered, but seriously? You had better things to do then wait in line for two hours and have your view blocked by huge banners?

Later tonight I'll be posting some pictures and video (maybe) of the event and a rundown of what went down while Obama was in town this weekend, but our new contributor Street Ninja is working overtime, and he was able to get the picture of the man who is partially responsible for getting the huge Obama banners taken down, which were obstructing the view of a ton of people in the audience. Here's Street Ninja's report:

My issue was the big signs that people were holding in the front of the general area. I, along with hundreds of other people had my view of the stage blocked by giant banners. People behind the banners were grumbling a lot and by the time that Obama came out, a chant had started for them to be moved, but they stayed up. Finally, one brave kid forced his way forward to talk to the people holding the signs. I caught him after the speech, got a quick pic and a chat. He stated that at first the people holding the signs ignored him, so he went and started tapping them on the shoulder, explaining that a lot of people behind them couldn't see. The people tried brushing him off, telling him to mind his own business. He continued to push the subject for about 10 minutes, to no avail. A lady rudely explained to him that they had orders from their democratic committee not to take them down. Other people in the crowd started jostling and getting unruly. He explained that two very large guys stepped up behind him and told the lady that there would be problems if she didn't take it down. Finally, the banners came down to cheering from a large portion of the crowd behind.
