Penn State's would-be starting Tight End, Andrew Quarless (who is 18), was cited at 3 this morning with an underage drinking violation at the Nittany Apartments, along with redshirt defensive back Willie Harriott. Quarless obviously is trying to become numero uno on Joe Paterno's shit-list. Till this point he was probably most famous for falling into JoePa during last season's Wisconsin game and breaking the octogenarian's leg. Nice work Andrew!
After the Anthony Scirrotto incident earlier this year, the team was warned to stay out of trouble ... Quarless apparently didn't get the memo. Quarless (whose nickname is 'Getz Bizzy' according to his Facebook profile, awww), seems to have just been in the wrong place at the wrong time, as PSU police were responding to a separate incident at the apartments and happened upon Quarless, Harriott and a female friend. In college, and drinking before they're 21? SHOCKING!!
Here's the thing, Nittany Apartments is home to most of the athletes that live on campus ... don't University police know to just stay away from there by now? Come on, this is a football school! Football players (especially starters) are supposed to get every perk possible. It's like diplomatic immunity or something. If Penn State has any dignity, this rent-a-cop's head will roll.
On a happier note, PSU's now in the lead for the Fulmer Cup - Go Team!!
