Charges Dropped Against Austin Scott

Charges Dropped Against Austin Scott
So the commonwealth (see "State" for all you regular folks) dropped all the charges against Austin Scott in the alleged rape case from last semester. This was kind of expected right? I mean the whole thing seemed a little sketchy from the beginning. But I'm going to go on record with my guess that this is not the end. I bet we see some kind of fallout between Scott and the university. Right?

Since charges were dropped and the team has kept other players on the roster while their charges were pending, it seems like there was a double standard used with Scott. Look at it this way, Anthony Scirotto pled guilty to a charge in relation to the Meridian Mellee (that doesn't get old) and has to serve 500 hours of community serve and pay a $500 fine. Scott doesn't have to do anything, he's a free bird. Double standard?

It's ironic that charges were dropped today since we're a day before the Blue & White game and many former players will be in town, plus the NFL Draft begins next Saturday, which Scott hopes to be drafted in (not gonna happen).

But also because I have perhaps one of the best Austin Scott stories to tell that I was witness to yesterday ... but I can't.

DAMNIT!

For some strange reason, now that all charges have been dropped in this case... I find myself sexually attracted to him.

Who knew?
