Conservative Students Strike Back at Schools

The crazy conservatives are finally coming after the lefty liberal commies on college campuses. Students at Penn State and Temple resist indoctrination.
Higher education a hotbed of liberalism? Never!
But just in case it is, Penn State and Temple University have put in place special procedures for students to address concerns about professors’ bias in the classroom, and complaints have been filed at both schools.
Though Temple would not release the complaints to the media, Penn State had no problem giving up the goods. One undergrad took issue with her French professor showing the movie Sicko, arguing that it had nothing to do with reading, writing or speaking French. "Feeding students unalloyed propaganda, without critical materials, in a class not designed to address such issues can have a powerful indoctrinating effect," she wrote. Welcome to college!
Nevertheless, the school found that the movie effectively demonstrated French culture though more time for debate should have been allowed.
Another student had a host of complaints, including an instructor banning his controversial speech, a health and human sexuality class that didn’t value abstinence-only education (gasp!), and a professor who forced students to watch An Inconvenient Truth. School officials decided the student was justified in his feelings of censorship regarding the speech, but dismissed the other complaints.
These poor, discriminated souls. Maybe conservatism should be added to the list of protected categories, right up there with race and religion.
