David Archuletta: Next Clay Aiken?

Tonight is the season finale of American Idol 56 or whatever it is and it is down between David Archuletta and David Cook. Both are big tools, but the young, pristine David Archuletta is quite the character. Only 17 years old, I don't see how this greasy haired, yet-to-hit puberty kid is so popular. He sings all of these ballad songs and most likely is going to win American Idol because of his popularity. But I ain't buyin it.

I hate American Idol for these reasons:

1.) It finds the next great flop of music artist. The only two to actually have solid music careers are Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood. Don't think that America just forgot about the great American Talents like Taylor Hicks and Ruben Studdard.

2.) Can we drag it out any longer? I'm currently watching the season finale of the show and the entire season finale is performances. Tell us who won so we can move on with our lives.

3.) Randy Jackson doesn't know anything about music and Paula Abdul is a creeper.

4.) I know you are all looking for me to dig on Ryan Seacrest, but I actually respect the man. He does a lot for himself, from hosting all of these shows to doing radio shows to doing a lot for his career. I have no problems with him.

I'd like Cook to win tonight, but Archuletta will win to become the next big flop in American Idol history

p.s. The Jonas Brothers are performing right now...they suck...

EDIT: David Cook won by 12 Million Votes. I guess I was wrong...oh well...I guess it's time to start talking about "So You Think You Can Dance"!

Compare Hicks to the other American Idols...where does he rank? He hasn't been what an American Idol should be, which is chart topper.

WE ALL LOVE DAVID ARCHULETA and we're soo proud that he achieve the top 2 spot.. I love him!
I'm soo happy for him that he came sooo far and I love his music..An amazing performer. He proved a lot and he outperformed his rival by a KO in 3 performances..I'm so proud. He's the best singer for me and my IDOL forever.. I'm happy and have to move on. He's a star now anyway, a celebrity.. I'll buy his albums.
