Finals Study Tips: Four Horsemen

Finals Study Tips: Four Horsemen
It is upon us; the dreaded finals week begins December 3rd.

OSUotr is here to help. All this week there will be features on tips to help you, the common college student, pass the test and make the grades. These tips are intended to be helpful and sometimes humorous. Don't take them too seriously, but in the end they may help you in some way.

Tip #4: Sleep, but Don't Comatose

Sleep is one of the best study tools. It is much easier to remember things and to study hard when necessary on a full tank of gas. Staying up all night to cram will not help you because you are more likely to forget much of what you study. Also, that just encourages you to use caffeine or other "study aides".

The best idea is to get on a sleep schedule that will set you up to be awake when you want to on the day of the test(s). If you have an exam at 8 AM on Monday, you shouldn't be staying up until 4 AM on Saturday night.

Tip #1: Get the Party out of Your System
Tip #2: Turn off the Computer
Tip #3: Just Say No (This Week)
