Fire Breaks Out At Kappa Alpha Order House This Morning
The CDT is reporting that a fire broke out at the Kappa Alpha Order house on 234 E. Beaver Ave. around 4a.m. today. No one was injured, but it's unclear if the fraternity members will be able to return to the house even though it was labeled "a small fire." Not a good way to start the semester.

According to the CDT, when fire fighters appeared at the frat house, "Fraternity members, having rushed out of the place, huddled in various stages of undress along Highland Avenue before they received immediate shelter elsewhere this morning." With temperatures dipping into the 20s last night some Kappa Alpha's were probably freezing their asses off.

Since it appears no one was allowed back into the building, "police and other responders prepared to help fraternity members find alternate lodging," but it's unclear how many people took them up on the offer.

Hopefully the fire doesn't displace any frat members, especially with classes ready to begin tomorrow.
