Fogs and Floods

Last Thursday's weather transitioned from a nice 54 degrees in the afternoon to raging thunderstorm to a round of hail before covering the campus with almost 10 inches of snow for the weekend.

Today, it was upwards of 50 degrees accompanied by rain. All the snow began to melt and the sidewalks became a large slushy mess with pools of water everywhere. Basically, it was like walking through a freezing cold marsh. Fog descended and created a blind, serene hell for drivers. And yet, the birds sang loud and clear from their tree branches. Go Mother Nature!
