Harvard Graduate Carries Obama's Bags All Day

What does an Ivy League degree get you? Apparently, the privilege to load and unload presidential hopeful Barack Obama’s luggage.

After graduating from Harvard last year, Eric Lesser, 23, became the “ground logistics coordinator” for Obama’s campaign plane.

In a recent NY Daily News article, the glorified baggage handler details the finer points of his chosen profession:

[One day] someone overstuffed their bag, and the seam broke and their stuff went flying all over the place… It was windy. So, I ran all over the tarmac collecting it…

People don't realize all the adventures their bags go through… The bags need to get from A to B, and at the end of the day, you've just got to do what you need to do to make it happen.

In other words, while some of his former classmates are undoubtedly off at medical school paving the way for groundbreaking medical research, Lesser is spending his days carrying bags and chasing underwear around a runway.

Way to put your $40k+ education to good use, Mr. Lesser. Mom and dad must be proud.
