Hope For Illini Football

Hope For Illini Football
We get hopeful every year, like a die-hard Bears fan, and often for good reason. The coming fall is no exception for Illini Football.

Last year we led the Big 10 in rushing. And despite recruiting Juice Williams as QB, there was still much to be desired offensively. (also quite similar to a Bears fan)

However, with the acquisition of Arrelious Benn at wide-reciever, one can only hope that the passing game improves, and we start to see some tangible points on the board.

SI writer Cory McCartney says Benn has already made more all-around impact than any other freshman recruit. Let's hope he's right.

It would certainly justify all those stupid cheers and hand motions they do in Block I.
