USC's victory over UCLA this Saturday reserved a place for the Trojans in the Rose Bowl, where they will face off against the Penn State Nittany Lions.
The No. 5 Trojans will meet the No. 8 Nittany Lions in the 95th edition of the Rose Bowl. This will be Penn State's third trip to the bowl, the most recent being in 1994.
This will be the first time the Lions have a played a top five opponent in the postseason since defeating No. 1 Miami in the Fiesta Bowl to win the national championship in 1986.
There is no doubt that this will be a great match up. From what I hear, USC is a ten point favorite, but, judging past performances between these two teams, winning will not be an easy task for either.
