Joe Paterno Taken To Hospital For Dehydration

Joe Paterno Taken To Hospital For Dehydration
I do not joke around when it comes to Joe Paterno's health. Let's just make that clear right now. But any time an 81-year-old is taken to the hospital by ambulance, it's probably not a good sign. But then JoePa isn't just any 81-year-old. And so, once again the man gave the middle finger to anyone who thinks he's down for the count since he's out of the hosptial and plans on traveling to Texas tomorrow.

After feeling nauseous, weak and fatigued early this morning, Paterno was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for apparent dehydration, and given tests for heart problems, but he was never admitted to the hospital. And every member of the Paterno family downplayed the incident with his wife saying "Now he’s fine. He’s home.” Also quarterbacks coach and son Jay said "If it's dehydration, he's probably all talked out." Oh, that jokester! Maybe you should back off on he humor and teach someone how to throw a football Jay.

Guido D'Elia, Penn State spokesman said JoePa will still be traveling to Austin, Texas tomorrow for a dinner with Texas football coach Mack Brown. This is after Paterno traveled to Philly last weekend for a dinner, recently returned from a Big Ten Coaches meeting and spent time with recruits this week. I mean I need to take a nap after writing this post, so I don't know how the man does it.
