Natural Gas in PA will Boost Economy

 

A recent news release by WJACTV stated that some Pennsylvania landowners will be receiving big royalty checks for valuable gas that may be under their homes. According to Penn State University researchers, this new resource will spur the economy and lead to new jobs and new workers.

 

Supposedly, geologists and other companies have known about the excess gas for a very long time, but they just were not sure how to obtain it. Energy companies need to obtain licenses in order to drill into the untouched natural gas reserves.
