According to The Associated Press, Professor Robert Shaler, a retired chief forsenic biologist, will be starring in a cable TV show airing on the Investigation Discovery channel with twelve of his students.
The show, which airs on July 10th, follows an actual two-month-long Penn State course where two teams of students investigated crime scenes and then presented their cases to the professor. Shaler and producers hope the show will educate students and prospective forsenic biologists about forensic crime scene work.
This sounds like an interesting project. Maybe I’ll watch it one day -- if I have nothing else better to do.
