PSU Student Dies From Eight Story Fall in Aparent Suicide
The freshman student who fell from her window on the eighth floor of Tener Hall early Tuesday morning has died from "multisystem trauma related to suicide" according to deputy coroner, Paul Kerns.

With this now being declared a suicide, it marks the second dorm suicide this semester ... that we know of. Is there a problem that isn't being addressed by the University?

The story about the suicide in today's Collegian points out that Penn State's Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) offers support for people who are suffering from depression or any other psychological problem. But obviously not everyone is going to CAPS for help.

So, the questions remain: is there something else causing students to take their own life, and what more, if anything, can the University do to help prevent more suicides from taking place?
