As part of the Greek community, I did participate in this past week’s “Greek Week” events. Hanging out at the same frat every night gets to be interesting-- girls fighting with other girls over which guy they get to hook up with, boys learning which girls get annihilated every night so they can take advantage… it doesn’t matter who you are, at the end of the night you end up with a guy who usually turns into a jerk. Some blog worthy quotes on the subject:

[In reference to a sorority pledge “scoring” a hot older guy] “You can go for it, why wouldn’t you? But just remember, we have an agreement here that if he wants one of us instead, you’ve got to give him up”

[A reason for not wanting to get with a girl again] “You have mean hair. This swoopy bangs thing you have going on, it’s mean.”

“I don’t want him to hate the whole sorority just because he had a bad night with me.” (A little self-absorbed, are we not?)

The crazy things people say (and do…) when it has to do with the opposite sex.
