While we were learning the rules of tether ball, Andrew Hsu was already in college at age 10. By 16, the kid had already successfully triple majored at the University of Washington (Neurobiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry), and now he's coming to Stanford--to earn his Ph.D in Neuroscience. Oh yeah, he also published a book on Chinese-American scientists and started the non-profit World Children's Organization. His advice for success? "If you're waiting at the bus stop or in a restaurant, bring a library book or a textbook. Don't waste your time." Alright, Andrew. We'll try that.
