SIU Alum Jenny McCarthy Believes She Has Cure for Autism, Fights with Amanda Peet

Back in the day, Jenny McCarthy attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale to study nursing. While there, she submitted her photo to Playboy in order to pay for school and never looked back. Now, McCarthy is reasserting herself in the medical world, campaigning for “green” vaccines, which she believes carry less of a threat of causing autism. McCarthy also claims that she has cured her son of autism and is currently in a mother of a cat fight with Amanda Peet.

According to the Cleaveland Plain Dealer:

Jenny McCarthy is snarling at Amanda Peet after Peet called parents who refuse to vaccinate their children "parasites." McCarthy, who claims that her son has "recovered" from his autism, is campaigning for "green" vaccines. Peet is a spokeswoman for Every Child By Two, a campaign co-founded by former first lady Roslynn Carter to get children vaccinated against diseases like measles and pertussis.

Ladies! Ladies! Can’t we all just play nice? Or at least mud wrestle in bikinis?
