There has been little news on this yet (nothing at all from The Collegian) even though it reportedly happened early Friday morning, but there are reports that a resident of Shunk hall committed suicide over the weekend.

According to the CDT, "University police responded at 3:36 a.m. to a report of an unresponsive person in Shunk Hall, a dormitory building in the Pollock Halls complex. The young man showed no signs of life, according to a police report."

A Facebook group in memorial to the victim has been set up and although some news sources are naming the suicide victim, OTR is choosing not to.
