You've gotta love Princeton's grad students holed up in the apartments across the road, diligently studying weirdly specific stuff.

Grad student Aaron Strauss has concluded that text messages aren't just for wasting way too much of your time: a text message sent to young people reminding them to vote just before the big day will increase the likelihood that they will vote by 4.2 percentage points.

Doesn't sound like much, but we all know how close it was in Ohio in 2004. This could mean that you'll be receiving even more annoying spam text messages, reminding you that OMG HLRY ROX.
