TV Stars Who Fight, Steal And Do Drugs

I know it’s irrational but when I read that an Office star was arrested for drugs, I immediately thought Ryan. No, B.J. Novak wasn’t actually sniffing the white stuff like his character got caught doing in the season finale, but sometimes it’s hard to separate fact from fiction.

Instead it turns Craig Robinson, Scranton's lovable warehouse guy Darryl, was the one who was high on more than just life. The actor, who also recently appeared in the Pineapple Express (foreshadowing?), is up against felony drug charges.

CNN reports:

According to documents released Friday, police in Culver City arrested Robinson on June 29 on suspicion of possessing MDMA, also known as ecstasy, and methamphetamine. He was released the same day after posting bail, jail records show.

Unfortunately, Robinson isn’t the only TV star spending his off-screen time behind bars. Here are 5 other TV personalities who living outside the law recently:

  1. In the spring, CSI star and crime-scene investigator Gary Dourdan became part of a crime scene himself. The disoriented actor was arrested on suspicion of possession of heroin, cocaine, ecstasy and prescription drugs. With drugs like those, he wasn’t messing around.
  2. While Tatum O’Neal plays a woman with an alcohol problem on Rescue Me, the real life actress prefers the powdery stuff. O’Neal was busted early in the summer for allegedly buying cocaine and now faces charges of criminal possession of an illegal substance.
  3. It was an all out brawl that sent Z-lister Bianca Golden to the slammer. The girl who started **** on America’s Next Top Model and her family got in a messy public fight with Hairspray’s Nikki Blonsky at the Providenciales International Airport in Turks & Caicos, landing both girls and Blonsky’s father in trouble with the law.
  4. Josh Flagg, the star of next season’s Bravo show Million Dollar Listing, may work as a real estate broker but clearly art is his passion. Flagg is accused of stealing unbelievably expensive art that was part of the estates he was handling.
  5. On ABC’s show Greek, Cappie is an endearing screw-up, but in real life actor Scott Michael Foster is a not-so-endearing screw-up. The 23-year-old actor was arrested for misdemeanor drunken driving in July.

You would think the satisfaction of acting out your dream would be enough to satisfy these trouble-making stars, but apparently not so.

Nevertheless, whatever happens with Craig Robinson, I hope they don’t write Darryl off the show. It just wouldn’t be the same without the guy who brought us this gem:
