Hurricane Hillary has subsided, but the presidential wannabe left destruction and debt in her wake.
The latest college clamoring for cash is the University of Pennsylvania. This past spring, Hillary made two appearances at the school and even Chelsea came to give a talk. But, now that the campaign has died, UPenn is still left asking for the money.
And they’re not the only one. The Clinton campaign debt totals more than $20 million dollars, and many universities are included in that amount. As of June, Clinton had yet to pay back Indiana University more than $35,000 for three events held at the school, and she had previously owed more than $6,000 to UC Davis.
Expenses for rallies at universities can add up. Factor in cleanup and security and that stump speech can leave candidates stumped for funds.
But why worry about repaying those college debts? It’s only for education, anyway.
