How the hell did I miss this story. It includes three of my least favorite things in the world: Pittsburgh, the Steelers and Steely McBeam. Ok, well we can all agree on that last one. Worst. Mascot. Evar!!1!

Anyway, apparently Kenneth Hahey, one of the poor guys who had to dress up like this sorry excuse for a mascot, was charged with DUI back in January after having a .166 blood alcohol level. The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review says, "Steelers spokesman David Lockett said Hahey has been 'released from his duties.'" Unfortunately the community still isn't safe however.

"Lockett said Steely McBeam will still be a part of the Steelers. 'We haven't had any discussion at all about changing that,' he said. 'He's still going to be out there in the community uninterrupted.'"

Steely McBeam is teh awsomes!
