Just in time for winter break, the e-mailed crime alert has returned, bringing joy to thousands of Maryland students.

The e-mail, which details any crime that occurs on campus, is a fan favorite as crimes have included stolen flip flops and a "strong-armed" robbery of Yu-Gi-Oh cards. The e-mail had conspicously been absent in recent weeks, only adding to the glum of finals.

As an aside, I promised friends that I would respond to the next crime alert, if only to simply thank Paul Dillon, the police chief, for his tireless work arresting those damn Yu-Gi-Oh thieves. Stay tuned for an exclusive look at the correspondence.
