Michigan Assistants Fired: Who Will Coach Capital One Bowl?

Michigan Assistants Fired: Who Will Coach Capital One Bowl?
Maximus for interim Offensive Coordinator?

For anyone still following Michigan football into the holiday season, you've probably heard that Rich Rodriguez fired all of the Michigan assistant coaches. He rehired running backs coach Fred Jackson a few days after when he realized it compromised star recruit Sam McGuffie's commitment.  If Rodriguez manages  to snatch number one  prospect Terrelle Pryor in addition to keeping McGuffie,  it would create quite the tandem. Reggie Bush and Vince Young playing on the same team could be actualized should Pryor choose to don the maize and blue.

However, there is a question that begs to be asked. With Rodriguez and his staff blitzing in their recruiting attempts, what about the Capital One Bowl against Florida? Are the fired assistants planning on waiting around until after the bowl game to find jobs that may be filled in the meantime? There has been no report on this and it has me wondering if it's just going to be Lloyd Carr and Fred Jackson standing on the Michigan sidelines. Granted that the game means very little other than it being Lloyd's last game, but the last thing I want to see if Florida taking a 35-7 lead going into the half. There's only so many embarrassing losses a Michigan fan can take in one season...
