Ohio Blown Away by Electric Outages

If you were on campus Sunday, you took quite a ride. Winds of over 60 miles per hour hit Ohio and sent trees flying. Due to the damage from the storm, hundreds of thousands of people lost electric and are still in the dark. All throughout Ohio people are trying to live without electric.

In the Columbus area, there are patches of people with electric. Currently the campus buildings all have electric. Residents south of 13th mostly have electric. All other areas are scattered randomly.

American Electric Power has stated that energy outages could last up to seven days. Obviously, if you're reading this though, you probably have electric, so it's no sweat off your back. To those who don't have electric, invest in some board games and alcohol. One thing to keep in mind though: Most campus stores are not selling alcohol because of no refrigeration.
