Princeton in the Nation's--and the Court's--Service
Colonial Club struck down for its insane hedonism.

Not even Princetonians can escape the law. After months of litigation following a girl's hospitalization from alcohol-induced injuries (ie. stupidity), the courts finally ordered mandatory community service for all members of Colonial Club. Yes, the same Colonial Club that's rarely on tap, home of Princeton's evangelicals, and has alcohol-free dance parties for freshmen. Oh, the irony.

Before non-Colonial Princetonians start rejoicing in schadenfreuden, most Colonial members aren't sweating the punishment. "If anything, I think it's a good thing," David Huie '09 said. "It is community service."

Quite the silver lining. What's sad is that it took a court order to compel them to do community service in the first place.
