College Papers Quiet on Taser Incident

College Papers Quiet on Taser Incident
No news of Meyer here.

What's most shocking about the University of Florida-Andrew Meyer tasing incident is that so few colleges have reported on it. It's one of the most striking incidences of forced limitation of free speech in recent memory and none of the best known college newspapers covered it.

The Columbia Spectator, The Harvard Crimson, and the Yale Daily News are all blithely oblivious. Naturally, The Daily Princetonian's front page is all about money and the launch of a new fundraising campaign. A Google search yields few college newspaper results period.

Either the editors of your student papers all think there's no way they can compete with CollegeOTR on the coverage, or they are reluctant to tackle a serious issue.
