If you missed the Thomas Wolfe Lecture last night, that’s probably because it had the word “lecture” in it, which usually implies some degree of ensuing boredom. It ended up being pretty hilarious. Reynolds Price, the keynote speaker, admitted at one point that after the news about Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinski broke, he sent the former president a note that read, “I’ve done worse.”
