Truck Takes Down Nassau Street

Last Wednesday a certain OTR tipster was walking along Nassau Street, Princeton's tree-lined Champs-Elysses, when low and behold a large truck went to make a tight turn onto Faculty Road. As he rounded the bend, it became painfully obvious to all witnesses that the turn wasn't wide enough.

The truck ripped the traffic light out of the ground, and, leaving behind a trail of sparks and a livewire hot enough to be a firework, dragged it another 50 feet along the street before realizing what the hell just happened.

The traffic light dangled over the side of the truck, its metal arm curved helplessly over the flat roof. Poor traffic light.

A pint-sized trucker exited the vehicle muttering a trail of obscenities just as a Princeton Po-Po rounded the corner.

Cop: Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me?
Trucker: Err...
