The next beauty and/or geek contestant could hail from Madison.

The TV show "Beauty and the Geek" is holding auditions in Madison for its fifth season.  Representatives will be at the University Book Store on State Street Saturday, Dec. 1 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for auditions.

"Beauties" and "geeks" are urged to show up for the open casting call.  Vain men should feel free to audition as "beauties" as the last season featured a geeky woman and a hunky guy.
